Virtual Kubernetes Clusters on Amazon EKS

Lovelace Room

Kubernetes namespaces are defined as virtual clusters. This sounds promising, but in reality namespaces are seldom used to the full potential. In this talk, we will discuss how when properly used namespaces can indeed virtualize the Kubernetes control plane allowing enterprises to fully leverage Kubernetes for resource efficiencies and cost savings. We will use Amazon EKS as a managed Kubernetes service and cover all details necessary for enterprises to provide self-service Virtual Kubernetes Clusters to their development teams.
